Life is multidimensional.
We interact with reality on multiple planes of existence.
I break these down into Mind, Body, and Spirit - each influencing the other.
The goal of life is to bring these three into coherence and working as a system - this journey of bringing them into harmony is the Path Home - unifying all aspects of the Self.
The issue today is society’s active pursuit to push us off this path.
Processed foods, and the alarming number of other environmental factors, poisoning our bodies and keeping us in a state of dis-ease that negatively impact the other parts of this system.
Our minds are being attacked by thieves of our attention - fracturing our ability to focus and discern what is right for ourselves.
And sacredness has been stripped from daily life, disconnecting us from our relationship to Source.
We are bombarded by forces keeping us in a dis-ordered state, not allowing these three centers to communicate with each other and work in harmony.
Along the way, we wander lost, disconnected from ourselves.
It’s this disconnection that allows the levers of control to wield power over us.
But it doesn’t have to be this way…
With conscious choice and effort we can find our way back onto the Path Home.
Just like how Nature seeks balance and homeostasis, our soul seeks to become whole again.
It doesn’t matter where you start.
Positive effort in one area triggers a chain reaction that helps bring the rest of the system back into balance.
I used to think there was a hierarchy - a healthy body leads to a healthy mind, which allows a connection to spirit. While I feel this is a good approach, it doesn’t have to go this way.
Our physical body is a temple. If we treat it well with eating healthy foods, movement, and prioritizing sleep, we create a healthy foundation.
Poisoning the body produces poisoned thoughts.
Nourishing the body produces nourishing thoughts.
But we need the mind to produce the thoughts to decide to make these healthy changes. And once we experience the results, it signals to the mind this is good and we want more.
And as these new habits get instilled into our being, our outlook on life changes.
The new habits influencing the mind, and the conscious choices made by the mind influencing the body. They get into a feedback loop producing positive results on both fronts.
And as this subsystem gets stronger - our bodies get cleaned, our mind is clear - we can become an open channel to connect with Source.
And as we connect with our spirit on deeper/higher levels it reinforces the habits/choices we make with the mind and body to open this channel.
The world begins to open up, new experiences and opportunities present themselves, learning to recognize the symbols in life, listen to the whispers, and experience synchronicities that let us know we are back on the path.
But some people may experience an unexpected spiritual awakening which is the catalyst.
They may begin to see the world with new eyes and determine they need to make changes to their health and thinking.
There are a number of ways to enter the game.
It all leads to the same place in the end.
Everyone’s journey is different. Pick your entry point, give it time and space to develop, and allow it to influence the other parts of the equation.
There’s no destination.
We won’t wake up one day and be perfectly aligned and have no need to continue tweaking the experiment.
Instead, as we make changes in one area, track how it affects the others.
All along the way we continue to refine our baseline.
A baseline is not rigid. Some days we may be off, and that’s ok. It happens.
But it helps to know where we are aiming.
By maintaining a baseline, the best we can, we build consistency.
And from consistency we build a foundation for growth, and track progress.
Without consistency it is too difficult to determine if our efforts, or new variables, move the needle in the direction we intend.
And back to curiosity - having a curious mind in each of these areas infuses the path of self-discovery with play.
It’s all a game.
Enjoy it!
Embark on the Path Home
Life is a multidimensional journey of aligning mind, body, and spirit into harmony. This process, the Path Home, reconnects us to our authentic selves. Modern life often disrupts this balance.
By nurturing one area—whether through healthier choices, mindful focus, or spiritual connection—we trigger a positive ripple effect, allowing the system to recalibrate. Progress is gradual, unique to each individual, and rooted in curiosity and consistency. This journey is an ongoing experiment, refining our baseline and deepening our sense of wholeness and purpose.
