My Life...
My life has been anything but conventional. Since a young age I have forged my own path, refusing to fit into any one mold. Knowing there’s more to life than meets the eye, I have been on a journey of self-discovery for as long as I can remember.
Seeking to understand what makes me tick, and how I can create value for this world. On the outside, my life has been infused primarily with producing events. But this is just an expression of something deeper - a love and desire to solve problems, collaborate with others, and create experiences. At my core, I am a storyteller. Curious about life and all this world has to offer.
This has led me to explore many aspects life. While zoomed in, they have felt disjointed at times. But as I zoom out and view life as a whole, I began to see how they all work together. Event Production helped me build a wide-ranging skillset for my tool bag. These skills, whether tangible like audio production, project management, working with my hands, or intangible like critical-thinking, solving problems, and learning how to see the interplay of various disciplines, have served me in other ways outside of events as well.My resourcefulness has provided value to Float Seattle, a floatation therapy business I am part owner of. It has served me as an advisor for a tech start-up, music curator and consultant for high-profile brands.
As a pull to spirituality led me inward, I found myself applying my joy of being “behind the scenes” with events, to assist and support people’s own healing journeys. The medicine path and my event production career blossomed simultaneously, two chapters of life beautifully interwoven, supporting each other. The insights and experiences of one, directly influencing the other.
This led me to the idea of viewing life from the holistic perspective. Our work and personal lives are not separate. With intention, we can blend the two and build a fulfilling life of purpose and meaning. How I live my life at home, directly impacts how I show up at work. As I shifted to my values and took ownership over my life, new career opportunities presented themselves. These provided the abundance of time and financial prosperity to allow me the freedom to continue crafting a life I am truly proud of.
