The Idea
I’ve wanted to step into my dharma of being a writer for quite some time. But every time I sat down to start, I didn’t know where to begin. A friend suggested, “Write what you know.”
Freelancing is a field I am well-versed in and decided it was a good entry point for an in-depth writing project.
The challenge
To share what I’ve learned over the years about a successful and sustainable freelance career built on cultivating relationships, building a foundation and skillset for success, and how to make it sustainable for the long-haul.
The creation
The completion of my first book, Solution Seekers: A Beginner’s Guide To A Thriving Freelance Life. It achieved two objectives 1) Allowed the storyteller within me to have the room to share my adventure with freelancing. 2) Shares my perspective and approach to freelance work that can benefit anyone in any industry. In a lot of ways it’s shares my outlook on life, but through the lens of freelancing.
